The history of Knoll is the history of modern design in the world. The company’s birth is accompanied by the birth of the Bauhaus. In 1938, Hans Knoll, born in Stuttgart in 1914, founded the company based on the belief that good design enriches and enhances our lives, both at home and at work.
The modernist approach, in which craftsmanship combines with technology through the use of design, is still a Knoll perspective and shapes the values on which the company is founded, which fights so that they remain always current
