Zanotta
Founded in 1954 by Aurelio Zanotta, already in the sixties its star shines in the firmament of the great international realities. Many of its products, the result of collaboration with important designers, from Achille Castiglioni to Gae Aulenti, immediately become symbols of innovation, both formal and technological.
Many of the masterpieces of Italian design are really sons of those years: the Mezzadro, the stool of Castiglioni kept, among others, at the MoMA in New York; the Sacco, the anatomic armchair designed by Gatti, Paolini and Teodoro; the Quaderna table, winner of the Gold Medal at the M.I.A. in 1971, exhibited in several Museums of Europe, just to name a few.
Today the production ranges from beds to bookcases, from tables to furnishing accessories with a corporate philosophy devoted to research and experimentation.
